Wrong name on bought plants.

Has anyone else bought a plant & found it was not the name on the label?

I know shops & online dealers are selling thousands of plants.

The 3 plants I got over the last 2 years had labels firmly attached so customers hadn't mixed them up.

I once bought an apple tree ,that turned out to be a pear tree

We often reuse plant pots at the Hillsborough Walled Garden, that have printed names on them, we do let people know what they are buying.

re-trees as they are grafed onto a base tree if you plant to deep you end up with a different fruit tree,as apple could be grafted to a pear base,plant to deep and end up with pear,i think that's correct.
