Becky B   30 #1 Posted May 24, 2018 I planted some tomato seeds about 6 weeks ago, I've kept them indoors under a propagator lid (unheated). The seedlings are still only about an inch high and don't seem to be getting any bigger  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Should I just start again? Rhyno   10 #5 Posted May 24, 2018 What colour are they? If they've got purple leaves, they are probably too cold. If they are yellowy, they might be struggling for light.  I have plenty of spare plants, I think I've just sent you a PM about them, but it hasn't saved at my end so maybe I'm an idiot. vwkittie   10 #6 Posted May 25, 2018 I bought some plants from B and Q several weeks ago and they seem to be growing well in my greenhouse, that might be an option? I'm sure there are better places to buy from as well like a proper garden centre!
 Share this content via...

iansheff   83 #8 Posted May 27, 2018 (edited) They had a variety of different types for sale at Hagg Hill allotments last week when I went looking for a beefsteak tomato. Look on the website for opening times. Failing that Asda were doing hanging baskets with them in, I am guessing they were tumbler or some similar variety.  https://hagglaneallotments.blogspot.co.uk/ Edited May 27, 2018 by iansheff
 Share this content via...
