Repairing a laptop - Its running really slow

Does anyone kno what the going rate for getting a laptop sorted as internets running slow and it just looks like its had its day.

 

Anywhere that does this? ( or if u have had experiences)

Shops usually charge £50 to £65 just to look at it.

A repair to my daughter's laptop (replacing a broken battery charging pin) cost £150.

When the touch pad went they decided to buy new!

 

I now have it and use a mouse.

But it might not need a repair if it's just slow internet connection,

Have you cleaned the HD of any rubbish lately?

Need more info, if it's just slow have you triied reinstalling the o/s? hod much menory has it got? is the hard drive full? what spec is it?

Is it actually faulty? does it stop working?

Na just both firefox and IE are coming up with various pop ups and isnt seeming to connect to websites now. I have used cc cleaner. Thats about it, any suggestions? and i dont have windows to re install..

Downlaod system mecanic, free trial and let it do what it wants.

Also run adaware and A2. (Asquared)
