Here is the current table of fares (see my bold) - TABLE OF FARES The fares detailed below are the MAXIMUM fares, which may be charged. City and Mercury have now finally decided to do same as the black cabs but of course are making a big fan fair of it. I agree it will be better for the customers all round. So Merry Christmas all round! So my taxi from the pub at xmas will cost only £7.50 instead of £5.50. Good times, more beer for me.
