Oh god. Is this correct? Anyone have any more information? Worrying stuff to hear when you live in the village.

Just been to village news,yes a shooting,attempted murder according to police.

I'm quite shocked actually that this has happened in this village its not exactly Spital Hill or the usuall area you'd expect this to happen.

I know the guy who runs that place with his Son or did up to a couple of years ago and found it a nice place when I have called in, as I said i'm shocked

It's new owners at the old harrow now they have only been here 4 weeks

No one has died, the young lad is stable

The angel next pub is completely different never no trouble and Chris the landlord keeps a good pint , really nice pub with good folk who go in , keep up the good work Chris and Debbie

Glad to hear that no one has died. I didnt know the Harrow was under new ownership. If this is anything to do with the new owners then let's hope they move on soon. We don't need this sort of trouble bringing to our usually lovely little village.

Couldn't agree more.

In that case, that's a shame for them. Not the way you want to start your new venture with a couple of shootings.

The other shooting occurred around bonfire night.
