What music are you listening to?

Recommended Posts

Foreigner - ive been waiting for a girl like you

Good 80s band 50/50 Brits and Yanks. Mick Jones picked a winner there. Still love " I wanna know what love is" one of the best songs ever written IMO.

Midnight in Harlem by Tedeschi Trucks Band, live version. Outstanding slide guitar from Derek Trucks and the usual great vocals from the missus.

That's a track I've been listening to a lot recently. Susan Tedeschi's input is divine.

I wonder if

[0:15–0:50] hasn't been influenced a tad by
[0:00–0:50]?

Tedeschi Trucks vid has also been on my playlist for a while. Mind you, I've long been a sucker for Taj Mahal.

Public Enemy - Can't truss it

Start of the song: ''There are more records of slave ships than one would dream it seems inconceivable until you reflect that for 200 years ships sailed carrying cargos of slaves''

The Lyrics in this song are powerful anyone else a fan of Public Enemy?

Ha ha! great stuff, seems strange to see Derek Trucks without the maroon SG Gibson lol.
