Settling Tinsley: A family day of art and history

Recommended Posts

A Bronze Age canoe was discovered in Tinsley, which is the oldest boat of its kind in this part of Britain.

Who would have used this boat? Where were they going and why?

Come along to this free event for families and discover the earliest histroy of Tinsley. It's a drop in event, so please feel free to come and go whenever you want.

Try out arts, craft and archaeology activities including clay and willow weaving and meet our artist to discover Tinsley's unique history and find out about what life was like in the Bronze Age.

There will be refreshments - drinks and snacks- available too for free.

Friday 24th February

Workshops 9am-12pm and 1pm to 4pm
