Halibut   12 #1 Posted January 29, 2018 I wanted to send my son some birthday money yesterday - so tried to log into my bank account. The banks home page came up fine, but every time I hit the log in button I was presented with a 'This site can't be reached' message.  I thought maybe it was down to Sunday afternoon maintenance and thought no more of it. Tried again after work this evening, same thing...  I can access the account fine with my mobile phone and have made the payment and have reassured myself all is well inasmuch as everything is in order - but any idea as to what might be wrong and how to fix it?  Thanks. Cyclone   10 #2 Posted January 29, 2018 Is that the only page that isn't working from your laptop? And it works from your phone, using the same connection (ie on wifi, not on mobile data)?
 Share this content via...
Halibut   12 #3 Posted January 29, 2018 Is that the only page that isn't working from your laptop? And it works from your phone, using the same connection (ie on wifi, not on mobile data)?  Seems to be the only one not working. I think the phone is on mobile data rather than wifi. Cyclone   10 #6 Posted January 30, 2018 Remove all the cookies and history, if it's chrome then the option is under the menu (button top right) more options - clear browsing data.  It would be useful to test the phone on wifi accessing the same page. Jomie   30 #7 Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) Alternatively download the free version of CCleaner and run that. Use the green box 'Download latest version', not the 14-day trial. Edited January 30, 2018 by Jomie
 Share this content via...
Halibut   12 #8 Posted January 30, 2018 Remove all the cookies and history, if it's chrome then the option is under the menu (button top right) more options - clear browsing data. It would be useful to test the phone on wifi accessing the same page.  Tried clearing history and cookies; no difference. Phone on wifi accesses the page fine.
 Share this content via...
