Former Barrow Boys Pub Might Be Reopening.

A planning notice has been placed near to the entrance of the former Barrow Boys pub once the hang out of punks. The plan is to reopen the pub with addition of a new spilt floor level. Will it work been out of the way who knows?

will make a nice pub crawl between Bottom of lane and penny black ,if it caters for the old fashioned pub goers

Looking on another forum the other day there was a suggestion that work was now ongoing in the old barrow boys.

Does anyone know what it is going to be though? Ie pub / restaurant / shop etc

Any progress on this pub yet, on Sheffield History site their is a photo of the inside of pub as it now complete with abandoned Land Rover ?

The Sheffield History post also states that work is going on in there.

if you walk down Dixon Lane (where Rebels nightclub used to be) and turn right at the bottom of the road to go under the bridge.

Shouldn't a punk hang out have a spit floor level?

Not quite the pub is or was to be named ' Rag ' n' Tag' an application for a license is on a light post near by dated 23 May 2016. I also noted you ask about this pub on ' Sheffield History' which has an inside photo of the pub showing a land drover left derelict.
