Android tablet pc reset

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO RESET.ANDROID MID TABLET PC GOT IT FOR DAUGHTER CHRISTMAS. Too many pattern attempts tried and its gone onto google account recovery but she has not set up a google account. So there's no password to put in. Anybody have any ideas?

when ever ive resent a tablet you hold the power button and + on start up and it takes to android menu navigate with + and - buttons and click on factory reset with power

If she's been downloading apps from Google Play she definitely has set up one - if that's the case ask her/whoever set it up if they can remember the details she put in (username/password etc.) when they first tried to download apps.

same old chestnut she didnt put username or password .tried reset boots on advise on forum nothing works...........

hi tried that an android sat on a missile then just freezes then minutes later goes back to password sign in thanks

tWe ve tried everyones ideas many thanks to you all. Thanks philgunbutya tried that, nearly works but we get the android lying on his belly with its back open with the red hazard triangle but theres no writng on the screen, tried tapping the up volume while holding the power button to no avail. Its as if theres no recovery mode on it. Any more ideas will be gratefully received and tried. Keep them coming forummers. Daughter desperate to get it working again.

Recovery will be there. If you are getting the little robot you are doing it correctly. You only press the power button to get into recovery. Once in, just use the volume buttons only.

A Sony s tablet has a small pinhole on the body ,and a paperclip poked in it will reset.I have also seen that on other tablets.
