Well he does have that older American cop look, so he could be mistaken for someone else. I always thought he looked a lot like Hal Holbrook but he is still alive at almost 93.

Brilliant actor.

Obviously best known for Frasier and it is terrific, but he's incredible in Say Anything...

Good point loved that show. Used to always equate that show with Jeff Arnold and the Riders of the Range, but I don't think that made it higher than the comics.Could be wrong, but don't recall it on TV.

Absolutely loved him in Frasier. He played Martin brilliantly.
