Different tweets showing on iPhone and iPad app

I’ve had the Twitter app on my iPhone for a few months now and have today downloaded it to my iPad. Strangely my iPhone seems to be showing newer tweets than my iPad, and some tweets that are showing on my iPhone are not in my Twitter feed on my iPad at all.

Does anyone know why this might be and what I can do to make sure they are the same?
