Did anyone watch the Bayern v Celtic game?

Recommended Posts

Facts are both Celtic and Rangers aren't interested and was just mentioned once

then left out of conversations ..Also facts are the Epl is over rated

better clubs are from Germany , Spain and Italy and France in Europe have better teams in their league set ups and also their club sides do better in Europe as well as their Int teams do better also . Celtic fc are doing well as it is and shall even get better as many young talent is coming through the system and its the Celtic way to rear their own talent and not spend around 40 million pounds on one single player or more which makes us laugh

Spending more Millions are many English club sides on one player

than Celtic do on their whole team :D

Best try and convince worldwide TV that the EPL is overrated then, because the clubs have earned the right to spend millions by providing the entertainment that the foreign TV companies are falling over themselves to pay for,Spanish football is like watching paint dry,France has 2 clubs ding well, Germany has 1,Italy doesn't have even have 1.

As for Celtic and Rangers, they can do what they want as long as they do it in their own country, problem is,the rest of the Scottish fans of other teams can't wait to see the back of them.

Were the Old Firm allowed to join the EPL - then in next to no time they would turn the big 6 in to the big 8.

Of that there is absolutely no doubt.

Both clubs are massive, possibly two of the biggest clubs in the world.

The SPL would continue but just a semi pro comp with crowds around half or less what they currently are.

I guess the likes of Hearts,Hibernian and Aberdeen could join the lower leagues in England too.

Rangers and Celtic wouldn’t be able to attract top players and wouldn’t survive in the EPL, players and more particularly their wives and families wouldn’t want to live in Glasgow.

Evidence ? See Newcastle, Sunderland.

Have either of those three ever got anywhere near a decent average attendance ?

There are third tier clubs in England who are better supported, Bradford, Pompey, Wigan, Plymouth, Blackburn etc

Hearts are a big club. There ground Tynecastle is pretty much sold out every week. Their average attendance is around 17000,a lot more if you include the 33000 that attended the Rangers match at Murrayfield.

Hibernian this season are averaging a little over 17000 and their ground only holds a little over 20 000

Aberdeen are averaging very similar to the other two - around 16 to 17 000.
