Hi

Does anyone know how I can get music to play on my myspace page? I've downloaded a song from Itunes that I'd like to use but am not sure if I need to insert some XHTML code somewhere or something.

I found a myspace editor which I used to create a code for the background, colours and so on but it doesn't tell me about music.

If you've downloaded it from iTunes, then chances are it won't work. iTunes default format is .m4a (.m4p if you've download it - the p means it's a protected file).

iTunes will convert .m4a tracks to mp3 but it won't convert .m4p (as you have to pay for them).

Oh ok. Thanks anyway.

How do other people put music on their pages then? I'd be willing to consider a different tune if necessary!

Yeah... I know what you mean actually. I just got stuck on a page where someone had an awful Irish fiddle wannabe punk band playing. I was desperately trying to hit 'mute' but for some reason my computer was refusing to comply. It really was too much on a Sunday morning.

Maybe I'll consider leaving the music for now... Thanks anyway!

If I want to leave a comment containing a picture on a friend's board, how do I get the pic in? I've done it before but I can't remember. The pic I want is just one I have saved on my computer. I tried copying and pasting but that didn't work. Any clues from the more technically minded among you?

The picture would need to already be online (if it's not, the find somewhere you can upload it to, like flickr or photobucket). To insert it. type <img src="http://the full address of the picture you want to include">

That's the simple answer. It can get more technical
