Whats best xbox or ps3

what do you think is best the xbox or the ps3

my son has had both and he rates the ps3

xbox by far, playstation was the best before the 360 came out but now the 360 is way better tha the ps3

iv got both slim ps3 & 360 & kinect and they both good but if i ad 2 pick 1 it ps3 all day mate much beter and it free online gameing

i agree the ps3 for me dont like having to pay to play

Controller is a personal preference, not much between them graphically.

Xbox Live is better than PSN,

Kinect/Move is a gimmick.

Both have exclusives.

PS3 is a better media server.

PS3 has bluray.

i personally would say Xbox, also that Kinect for Xbox is amazing.

xbox is by far superior

A prefence WITH a reason behind it:

PS3, online is free alot of games are gearing towards online play. not much between the two for me otherwise.

why dont xbox do it for free

No it certainly is not. While the PS3 might support more file formats where simple streaming is concerned, used as a media extender with Windows 7, the Xbox 360 can be used as the front end to a pretty powerful media centre.

I have 2 DVB-S and 2 DVB-T2 cards in my media server PC, which allows me to view and record Freesat HD and Freeview HD all controlled and viewable via the Xbox 360. I have my DVD, Bluray and Music collections ripped to hard drive, again all accessable from the Xbox via Media Center.

Maybe the PS3 could have done something like that one day if Sony hadn't killed off "other OS".

And obviously this is food for thought. I bet some heads have rolled at Sony.
