Bob Arctor   11 #1 Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) This is doing my head in. The PC is connected to the WiFi network but no browser will work - it doesn't time out but just endlessly tries to connect without success. However, I am posting this on my phone, connected to the same network, mobile data is off so it's definitely using my router. What's going on? Tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge, none of them work. I can send/receive for POP mail no problem.  Thanks  EDIT: sorted (for now anyway). Trusteer Rapport was going a bit bananas. Ended it, rebooted and all ok. Bob Arctor   11 #3 Posted October 5, 2017 Downloading emails from a POP server? You're giving your age away bob  Yeah, gettin on a bit I like Outlook, it has a good interface and works for me, so I use a POP server. Hushmail is very good and has webmail as well if I need it. Mikes10   10 #4 Posted October 5, 2017 You don't mention your OS  Try the following  1) Power cycle your router and computer ( be patient with the router ) 2) can you logon to the router from the computer? 3) Can you hard wire the computer to the router? 4) Look in the device manager are there any devices marked disabled?
