Malaysian airlines plane missing

I hear on the news that flight mh370 as been officially declared an "accident"

 

I thought the consensus all along was that somebody intentionally changed the course of this aircraft?

if there are declaring this an "accident" do they know something we don't know?

Isn't it just an administrative thing so that compensation payments can proceed?

They had a good idea where QZ8501 crashed and were able to get there relatively quickly before everything had chance to sink.

Won't there be several items on board that will probably never sink? Aircraft have mastered the art of making components as light and unsinkable as possible.

Allegedly, an amateur "expert" has found the wreckage on google earth and its riddled with bullets.

every day in the weeks after the plane first went missing, many using Google Earth images which were taken months or even years before the disappearance.
