That's ridiculous. If they want concrete barriers they should be behind the glass!

Is it the council who have have put them there? After all, it's not really there responsibility as to whether a shop gets robbed or not, and surely it breaks elf and safety rules? Maybe who ever has put them there should erect a big sign also saying please mind these daft blocks!

They've put blocks like these on Westminster Bridge, and nobody's complaining.

If they've caught the guy why do they need concrete blocks? Could be the insurance company insisting on this.

Whoever put them there needs permission from the pavement's owner and that's the council.
