TORONTONY   10 #6 Posted August 6, 2017 First time I saw him was in a film called The Family Way. Enjoyed the film to R.i.p  I think it was his first film along with Hayley Mills as his young bride. One of a spate of real life type films started by Saturday Night And Sunday Morning. What a shame he is only my age RIP Hywell. jaffa1 Â Â 10 #7 Posted August 7, 2017 I once saw him in the Penny Farthing night club in Sheffield, this was in the late Sixties or early seventies. His ex wife Kathy McGowan was with him but she was sat in one of those little cubicles on her own while he was at the bar chatting up the girls. One of a spate of real life type films started by Saturday Night And Sunday Morning. What a shame he is only my age RIP Hywell. Hywel and Hayley also appeared together in 1968 for the film Twisted Nerve. Superb performances from the pair. R.I.P. Hywel. Jim Hardie   517 #10 Posted August 7, 2017 I liked him in The Virgin Soldiers. I can recommend the book by the way. It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud but that book did all those years ago.
 Share this content via...
