New Citylink trams - special charity tour

An opportunity to ride one of the new 'Citylink' trams on the Yellow and Blue routes ahead of them going into regular passenger services will be offered on Sunday 17th September with a special charity service touring much of the network, starting from Meadowhall Interchange at 10:13.

There is no need to book or buy a ticket for this tram - just turn up, get on and chuck a donation in the collection bucket for the Children's Hospital Charity.

The normal scheduled tram service using the old Siemens trams will run as usual with normal fares/tickets applying to those.
