Keih williams worked there for a while as manage

remember someone in a wheel chair on the control

I think there was a Pete Hancock, and the girl on the radio at night was called Babs.

Shefftax bought Abbey and moved it down to Bedford Street. I think they still use the name and phone number but its all black cabs no private hire cars.

Norman died earlier this year.

I still work with a couple of cab drivers who were on original Abbey like Alan Hogg and Bill Green. I still see Ken (62) and Jack Heath knockin about.

I worked at Abbey on Rutland Road for 16 years.
