Keep fit and exercise classes diary

Recommended Posts

A few threads have come up advertising various classes across Sheffield so I thought it might be a good idea to have a sticky so they are easy to find. I will copy as many as I find into this thread but feel free to add any you know about, giving as many details as possible.

Happy new year everyone. Hope you all have a healthy 2011 :D

* Please can this thread be used for advertising classes and not for chat*

Sheffield School of Yoga hold a mother and baby yoga session at Ebenezer Hall in Walkley on a Monday 1pm - 2:30pm. Their number is 0114 2338340. I have been going to the pregnancy yoga class throughout my pregnancy and the instructor Hannah is great.

This is what their website says about the class

Postnatal yoga is a wonderful way to strengthen and revitalise your body after giving birth.

Baby Yoga combines gentle stretches with nursery rhymes and also gives mums guidance in ‘relaxed holding’ which really helps to soothe babies.

The structure of the class is quite informal and your baby’s needs (feeding, changing, sleeping etc) always come first.

The aim is to do what you can whilst having fun connecting with your baby.

There's a new slimming world group starting in richmond on wednesday. I don't usually like the idea of such things, but I know the woman who'll be running it, and she's good ;)

Hello,

The first fitness bootcamp will start in Coronation Park, Oughtibridge on Tuesday 1st March for 4 weeks. The sessions will be:

Tuesday 6:45am - 7:30am

Thursday 6:45am - 7:30am

Sunday 9:00am - 10:00am.

You can attend as much or as little as you like but we would obviously advise you attend all three for the 4 weeks to get the best results. The sessions will cater for all ages, abilities and capabilities and we aim to have fun rather than shout and scream at you for 45 minutes!! The maximum number on each bootcamp will be 10-12 to ensure you get personal attention while still having fun within a group environment.

We will be running further blocks of 4 week bootcamps after this one and if you choose to sign up for a second bootcamp you will receive a 10% discount on the price.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any further enquires or to book your place.

Many thanks,

Aimee
