Alex Jones, attack on all our liberty?

It's not actually, it is against the law and quite rightly too.

 

With the total mess this country is in, are you seriously more concerned about your right to be able to use hate speech than anything else?

 

You seriously need to grow up!

Rights apply to everyone. Even people we despise. The loss of freedoms of expression, the exchange of ideas, thoughts and beliefs in which we're free to challenge and question is the cornerstone of any healthy democratic free-society - But yet you believe this is nothing to be concerned about? The loss of free speech is a blessing to those that wish do us harm. What exactly is hate speech?

Well no, being offensive and hate speech are two totally different things, as is telling lies or slandering people like Alex Jones does. So that's three separate things I suppose.

What is of concern is that there seems to be a tiny but vocal minority which wants to take the clock back to the days when black and Asian people, women, gays and lesbians and the disabled where openly abused in society, the media and popular culture.

The fact that this is no longer the case is a cause for celebration. It is the mark of living in a grown up, modern society.

It is 2018, not 1958.

Get over it.

Just as I thought, it’s any speech you don’t want to hear. Your concerns and opinions do not supersede others. People have concerns and opinions about an array of issues. And you believe you have the right to silence them, well I’m afraid you don’t. Get over it.

I was surprised to see the current State of Alex Jones on an internet interview this week. He was being interviewed while slurring his words sounding inebriated, but the most shocking this was how much weight he has put on.

He is now obese.

Not such a great advert for his own brand of health products which are supposed to give him vitality and superhuman strength and fitness.
