Letting Agents referencing checks

Can anyone advise if referencing checks for prospective new private renting tennants are transferable from different agencys, in other words, is my referencing check of 2 years ago still valid with another letting Agent today....?

Unlikely I would think.

1) Your circumstances could change in the two years - you could have run up a load of debt

2) The lettings agency probably paid a credit reference agency for the data, which they are explicitly forbidden from sharing.

No chance. Plus it's an opportunity to fleece you of some cash.
