mort 10 #1 Posted June 21, 2018 South Yorkshire Police are searching for a missing man APPEAL: Concerns grow for missing Sheffield man Roy Rogers Officers looking for 70-year-old Roy Rogers, who was reported missing from the Broomhill area yesterday morning, are today continuing with their efforts to find him, and are asking for your help. Roy was last seen leaving his home address, just off Fulwood Road in the Summerfields area, at around 7.30am on Wednesday 20 June as he left to go to work. He has not been seen or heard from for over 24 hours now and police are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. Chief Inspector Lydia Lynskey, leading the search for Roy, said: “We know that Roy likes to go out walking in Sheffield, in places such as the Botanical Gardens and we are working hard to search areas he has been to previously. “While Roy is physically fit and able, we are concerned that he has been missing overnight and hasn’t been seen since. “I’d like to ask anyone who thinks they may have seen him yesterday morning, or throughout the day and into the evening to get in touch with us. We need your help to find him. “Roy is described as about 5ft 9ins tall, an average build with grey and white hair. We believe he may be wearing a blue polo shirt, beige trousers, a blue/green coloured fleece and a white scarf. “If you’ve seen Roy or known where he is, please call 101 quoting incident number 968 of 20 June 2018.”
 Share this content via...
