Five Wiers Walk.

Recommended Posts

I've been saying I will do this walk for years but the info on it is scant to say the least, I was considering starting at the Meadowhall end and walking back to Sheffield, can anyone tell me where to pick the walk up from that end?

Sorry I wasn't having a dig, my typing/spelling leaves something to be desired sometimes.

By the looks, catch the tram to the stop before the Meadowhall Interchange and pick it up from there. Did you spot the pdf maps on the website to print out?

http://www.fiveweirs.co.uk/5WWmapWEST.pdf

http://www.fiveweirs.co.uk/5WWmapEAST.pdf

There's also more stuff here on the Council's web site;

https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/roads/travel/walking/walkingmaps/lowerdonvalley.html

Including a detailed travel map;

http://maps.travelsouthyorkshire.com/?x=438703.415&y=390454.265&z=2&route=sheffield/walk_45&pop=439617,391031

Just zoom in on the turquoise line and enjoy the walk.
