Walking groups around s20/rother valley area

Hello,

My dad (60s) is moving to Sheffield from a small village and wants to get into walking but not too far maybe about an hours walk. Anyone got ideas for s20/ rother valley area?

Looked at the shamblers group but they all seem to be north of Sheffield

There is a walking group which sets out from Killamarsh Leisure Centre(S21) every week.
