Jared Omara MP ..

nikki-red

We understand that this is an emotive subject, and discussing the facts is totally fine.
Posting insults is not.
Jared is local to us, and could well be a member of the forum, we dont allow name calling and insults on other threads and they arent acceptable on this one either.

What are your thoughts, Hackey?

You aren't usually upset by un-pc nonsense like this.

Any bets on who will be the first forummer to defend him.I can see Jeremy Corbyn getting involved in this one as he would have been the first one to call for a resignation if it was anyone from another party.

A link to the appropriate story might help

LOL....just seen the story, to be fair he was always a bit of a prick when he ran West St Live and had issues with women. I'm sure a serious google search will bring up blog posts about his misogyny and violent tendencies.

The BBC article however doesn't make mention of his homophobic 'fudge packer' comments.

I'll defend him a bit. The comments are from 14 years ago, people change, often for the better as they get older and wiser.

That said, they aren't particularly nice comments and he does need to demonstrate very clearly that he has matured and no longer associates himself with such opinions. He also needs disciplining by the party.

He's done a lot of good stuff too though, so steady with that pitchfork.

The hypocrisy of which people? No one had mentioned it until you started the thread. Maybe that's you being a hypocrite as it is the sort of stuff that you'd usually defend:rolleyes:
