Then, (I'm not sure about this,) but I believe it would be up to the executors of your will to find your son and see the bequest gets to him (or his descendants / relatives.) Â There are various people finding services, I believe the Salvation Army run a scheme, and will Finders etc who will have access to ways and means of finding them. You really need to see a specialist solicitor.  I believe it’s free Wills month again in March so if you wait a couple of weeks you can get one properly drafted by a solicitor in exchange for a donation to charity.
