Club Sponsorship Needed

My name is Ciara Douglas and I am the Club Secretary for Steel City Wanderers LFC. We are the oldest all female football club, established in 1993. We currently have 6 teams and next season looking to create two new age groups. The youth teams play in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA team and our Open Age are in the Women’s Premier League.

The club has been running now for 24 years, and this year will be our 25th year as an affiliated club. This will bring a lot of media attention from many different areas, including the hub, FA and women’s premier league which is getting more and more press coverage, as women’s football

continues to grow. We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of a lot of people connected with the club. We are a club that go with the ethos that football should be fun for all children and that winning isn’t everything.

There are however many expenses connected with running the club and we rely solely on local sponsorships and our own fundraising events to support the club, If it were possible we would very much welcome the opportunity to speak to you about sponsoring something to do with our team whether it be a kit, training equipment or even our end of season trophies.

As you would expect the major expense for the club is paying our share of the upkeep costs of kits balls and training gear. We are hoping that this might be something you would consider helping us with. Sponsorship ranges from £500-£5500, every little helps and if you would be able to help us in

anyway it would be very much appreciated.

In return for your sponsorship we would of course be willing to have your company logo printed on the kit/equipment and for you to be listed as one of our sponsors on all our team literature, social media and up at SGP FA Hub. There may also be the opportunity for other promotions, where we will advertise your business further.
