Blend Kitchen St Valentines Feast

This February at Blend Kitchen our inspiration is taken from the birth of a Roman festival in Florence over 2000 years ago. Following a ban on marriage by the loveless Emperor Claudius II, the people’s hero ‘Valentine’ flaunted this decree and secretly married 100’s of couples – until the furious Claudius found him out and put to death on February 14th!

But this hero of love was made immortal by those he married, who founded a feast day in his name to commemorate his death and declare their love.

Great Food – A sumptuous 5 course feast using the best locally sourced produce showcasing the flavours and colours of Tuscany.

Great Company – This Roman feast will be served ‘banquet style’ so come on your own, as a couple or with friends – come together to celebrate love and friendship.

Great Music – The soulful and lilting sax of Sheffields own Paul Anthony. A live music treat… the perfect soundtrack to your evening.

Price: £22.50 per person

Time: Arrival at 7pm to dine at 7.30pm
