Which is your favourite?

For a good Cheap one - I like Indiana on London Rd

Bit more up market - Mohul at Totley is good

The trouble is with Indian Resturants is that I find them a bit inconsistant. Sometimes they are great other times they are not so good from the same place....can't understand it.

We go to Hakims on London Road, eat in or takeaway. The prices are okay, but they are inconsistent sometimes... but then, so are most places (they must have different staff on weekends to week days?) - our local chippy has good days and bad, but it always seems like we choose the bad days!

Everest, Chesterfield Road, Heeley, is very good - heard good reports about Dil Shad on the Dale at Woodseats but never been !

Everest is good yes. Twice I have been there and I haven't been disappointed so far.

The best in Sheffield is Nirmals on Glossop Road.

Shapla at the bottom of the Moor is by far the best in Sheffield.

I not sure I can agree with you there. I had a bad experience there once.

is by far the best. It consistently gets mentioned in the sunday broadsheets as well, as the way Indian restaraunts should be run.

Make sure you take Nirmal's advice.

butlers balti house (broad lane) and jaflong (crookes) are the best i've been to.

Yeah....bloody good place Nirmals. Is the Kashmir on Spital Hill still going?

I find the Bilash in sharrowvale is very good, i even get a xmas card
