Local or town..

Do you have a preference, your local pub or going down town?

i prefer town

Town.. the local is full of local people.

Local is good for lunch or afternoon session. Even then I rarely use my local local, but one a mile and a half away in the next village,

town, no doubt about it, my local drinking establishments are vile

Well we have 5 locals and town is 5 mins away on the bus

So either is good for me

what constitutes as a local? does it have to be within a certain distance from where you live or could it be the one you visit most?

Town everytime, mind i'm usually working in pubs so i get paid for socialising

I've always classed town as my local wherever I've lived. I've never really been one for local pubs.

Me and my mates have adopted the MileStone at Kelham Island as our local despite living no-where near.
