Danny Baker has gone up in my estimations.

Last night on one of the Freeview channels I saw a programme by Danny Baker called "Danny Baker rocks the 70's....a bit". It was just half an hour of him giving us a selection of some of his favourite songs of the seventies.

There were some songs that I had not heard before such as these.....

The Who. Join Together

Brian Eno. Seven Deadly Finns

Kate Bush. Them Heavy People

Genesis. I Know What I Like

Mr Kipling he was a baker. Don't think they called him Danny though.

Seriously. I like Danny baker on Five live Saturday mornings. No one does drivel better than Danny...

Danny Baker and myself are about the same age and seeing as I have all these songs in my collection, we have similar tastes in music.

The ENO track, no, I have to say it passed me by that one.

I'm familiar with a few Kate Bush songs but I wasn't with that one.

I'd never really been into early Genesis before, just post-Peter Gabriel Genesis.
