Can’t understand the angst with McAfee. It is run by Intel and used by government and their contractors, which proves its trustworthiness and reliability. There is really nothing wrong with their software in terms of performance or reliability. I can only assume that it’s a user issue if you have problems.

Edit: forgot to mention. If you have BT Broadband, McAfee included for free.

I used Mcafee AV at my last employer. Every time the virus definitions were updated, you had to reboot the PC.
