Football and Sky

Recommended Posts

This Forum is returning to the bad old days of 2013/14ish when some unsavoury characters just wouldn't let things lie. Heres a few reminder s, Co-op, debts, floods, bribery and Bankruptcy. Now, STFU and let's get back to football. Thankfully, Murdoch will be ash before he can inflict any real crap on such as Wednesday or United. It'll all be down to Jerry Hall............... Much better!

The game's been ruined for 10 or more years now, and will become THE BIG GAME on telly, once a week on subscription of about £80 a month or so. It will be MU V Chelsea, Liv v Man C, Arse v MU, MU v Liv, and on and on.

Wednesday and United will be reduced to playing in the park and 99% of the people won't give a flying. It'll be big fat arzous and computer games. DON'T BUY IT!!!!

Not a fan of Sky but I can't see too big a problem with this. If you read the link on the BBC then you will see the following

'All EFL clubs will be able to stream midweek league games via their websites if Sky are not broadcasting them live'

Surely it is simply a case of the team not putting the match on their own website when they are at home. That way the home support shouldn't be affected, only the away support and as this is only for games that are played outside Saturday afternoon how much of an effect will this have? How many fans would either Sheffield club be taking to the likes of Norwich on a Tuesday Evening? The die hard fans will still make the trip but there could be some local fans that will watch the game at home if they can't get to the match.

I'll tell you summat else an'all. At every throw in, every corner, every injury, every ticking off from the ref, and every substitution, there'll be an advert.

Well, you can have it!

Loads of Brits want to be like the Americans.

Well now you can be!!

They already do in Italy, when its a corner or a throw in they run and advert that covers 1/4 of the bottom of the screen, its so so distracting.

Agree with you wholeheartedly HM (and top on this occasion). Impressed that you managed to sneak the acronym past the stasi too. :)
