Skink   10 #1 Posted June 15, 2018 So heres my quandary - need a second battery for my 10 year old DSLR but dont really have the knowledge of how storage would affect/damage the capacity of the thing  I can get an genuine battery from Microglobe but I have no idea how old it is, the camera was discontinued years ago  I can also get a similar Hanhel battery from Wex - that battery might be more recent stock, I dont know  A third option is cheap aftermarkets are everywhere - but I dont think I want to put one in my precious DSLR  The price is about the same with Wex/Microglobe. I like genuine but I trust Wex more than Microglobe . . . So what to do?
 Share this content via...
Astraeus   10 #2 Posted June 17, 2018 What brand is your dSLR?  I have a Nikon and have used officials and aftermarket batteries without issue, although I will admit that the aftermarket batteries tend not to last as long.
 Share this content via...
