No  Can the animal be picked up and put into a basket without the risk of scratching or biting? Yes but chinchillas can be timid so he will have to get used to your scent never bit though  Age & Sex 7 month old male  Breed/ Mix Mum is a standard grey Dad is a white pinky He's a grey/ beige with beige gene  Colour/coat type Grey/ beige  Can the animal be groomed/handled without biting or scratching?
