Temuchin   13 #1 Posted May 12, 2018 Hmm... It seems I found some very detailed maps online somewhere last December, but I have absolutely no idea where now. The maps are ones like this one.  Very detailed, showing paths, direction of flow of streams, and no grid lines. Does anyone happen to know where I might have got them from?! I do have a subscription to OS Maps, but none of their offerings match this level of detail.
 Share this content via...

Temuchin   13 #3 Posted May 12, 2018 https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/business-and-government/products/os-mastermap-water-network.html ????  I tend to avoid water! I certainly didn't pay for access to the maps - unless they were previously available on OS Maps and have now been withdrawn. cgksheff   44 #4 Posted May 12, 2018 It is very similar to the "terrain" layer on google maps, bing and some of the cycling/walking apps. The unusual bit though is the flow arrows.
 Share this content via...

Temuchin   13 #6 Posted May 12, 2018 (edited) I knew it! You're a Mogwai aren't you?  It's getting towards midnight, and I'm feeling rather hungry. Can you help...?  On the original topic, I've e-mailed OS about it, but don't realistically expect a reply for a while - if ever. Just 7* annoyed that I didn't make a note of where I got the maps from...  ---------- Post added 12-05-2018 at 22:57 ----------  The unusual bit though is the flow arrows.  Exactly. There's a chance I might have Photoshopped several tiles together, but I certainly would not have put flow arrows in! Never even noticed them until today. And the typeface doesn't seem like an OS one? Edited May 12, 2018 by Temuchin More info
 Share this content via...
