A very busy time to cross at 5pm I’m surprised traffic noise didn’t stop them crossing

The report went from mowing down baby ducks to maybe not seeing them.

The fact it was never reported speaks volumes.

The lady who reported it to the RSPCA has posted the reference number she was given on Sheffield Online. She's also advised that the surving ducklings were picked up by a Vet and are ok. It's good that she took the time to let people know what happened.

So many cynics and disbelievers on the forum, I can't imagine someone starting this thread for no reason. ?

From the link:

. . . I saw this car - I believe it was a white Audi, though someone else thought it was a Golf - drive straight into the mother duck who was crossing the road with her 10 or 11 ducklings

Now, I did not see this incident, but I am more than prepared to believe that the driver of a white Germanese binwagen is (a) a sociopath who kills animals for fun and (b) doesn’t pay attention when driving.

So it could indeed be a deliberate act of cruelty, or just an unfortunate accident.

No it can't be the latter, apparently the person who did it deserves to hang if you read the Sheffield Online comments.

There are always knee jerk reactions from the hard of thinking! Even on here sometimes.
