There are still a few spaces left for our alternative Christmas Party night on December 2nd.

 

Our Christmas menu is;-

 

To Begin

Pigeon, chicory and mushroom salad with hazelnut vinaigrette

 

Sauted prawns, chorizo, peppers, spinach and sour dough toast

 

Curried pumpkin soup, coriander oil and flat bread crisp

 

To Follow

Roast duck breast, parsnip puree, pomme anna, kale and red wine sauce

 

Whole sea bass, pak choi, noodles, soy and ginger sauce

 

Mushroom, spinach and aubergine pilaf with spiced tomato sauce and flat bread

 

To Finish

Chocolate mousse, peanut brittle and Cointreau syrup

Lemon Posset, blueberry jelly and shortbread

Cheese and biscuits

 

Price = £25 per person

 

Bring your own alcohol. Corkage is;-

£3.50 sparkling wine (champagne, prosecco, cava, etc)

£3 Red, white or rose wine

£1.50 bottle of beer, larger or cider

We've tweaked our menu slightly ahead of our first evening opening tonight. To Begin

Selection of 3 Little Pigs British Charcuterie,

Chutney, Pickles and Fresh Bread, £7

Smoked salmon, mixed leaves, pickled cucumber, dill and sumac dressing, fresh bread £7

Mushroom soup £4

Game terrine, chutney, toasted brioche, mixed leaves £6

 

To Follow

Moroccan spiced Barnsley chop, roasted squash,

spinach and red pepper and smoked paprika sauce £7.50

Fillets of sea bass, stir fried kale, new potatoes, basil cream sauce £10

Roast cauliflower, wild mushrooms, camembert cream £6

Smoked haddock, leek and potato broth £7

 

To Finish

Apple tarte tatin £5

Selection of Cheese’s (Sage derby, Stilton and Camembert), fresh bread, Chutney £7
