Lodge moor orphanage

Recommended Posts

I am only new to this so HOPE I am Doing it right.

My Father John(Jack) Walker was in Lodge Moor in the 40's.

He has fond memories of a girl called Jean Emery.

I believe Jean was 6 at this time.

If you know jean or if you know my dad please contact me.

Thanks & Regards

Caza

The hospital is now a posh housing estate with some large houses on it.

Was this actually where the orphanage was, or was it always a hospital.
