RAILWAY WALKS with the PENISTONE LINE PARTNERSHIP

Supporting use of the local train services on the scenic ‘Penistone Line’ ( Sheffield >Meadowhall >Barnsley >Penistone >Huddersfield).

Walks are also held using the Sheffield > Worksop > Retford > Lincoln line and the iconic ‘Brigg Line’ (Sheffield > Gainsborough Central >Kirton In Lindsey > Brigg >Barnetby >Cleethorpes).

We walk between stations mostly using public rights of way and quiet lanes.

Walks are generally held on the first, third and fifth Saturdays each month.

All are welcome to join in these ‘railway rambles’ – the walks are free but train or bus fares apply.

Wear suitable clothing & footwear – bring along a packed lunch & drink.

Trains depart from stations at the stated times.
