Filming interview

Hi everyone,

I'm coming to Sheffield next week do film an interview and I'm looking for a couple of good locations.

I'd like a place with a view of the city & somewhere else that gives a sense of the city's industrial history

Does anybody have any good suggestions?

For a view of the City, I would recommend Skye Edge, which overlooks the city centre, with a wider view as well. I think some of 'The Full Monty' movie is filmed up there

It is possible to get a nice view of Sheffield rather than the stereotypical grim and grotty views most tv cameras actively seek out!

I'd suggest one from Ringinglow area for a nice one with the countryside in the foreground, then the city centre and behind that the industrial area and beyond

Ah its says good view of the city, whats the view like from Don valley bowl?

what about the top of Meersbrook Park or if you want all round views the top of Wincobank Hill - car parking close by on Jenkin Road

Anywhere you want. Sheffield is built on 7 hills. Walk up whichever one you like.
