Hard sun ..timeline?

Has anyone watched “hard sun”

It started out at 5 years and counting

After each episode the clock counts down a little

A woman was pregnant

During the first part of episode 6 a gun used in a previous murder (episode 5)was placed in a brick something or other

Then a caption saying “ a year later”

Then the gun was retrieved and planted in the MI6 woman’s house

Woman’s still pregnant

End of episode and first series only a few months has passed

How was the gun hidden for a year?

Because he shot the man on the bridge a year before it all started. It was a flashback. It was hidden because he erm, hid it.
