lubylou   10 #1 Posted August 27, 2017 I'm looking to hire a wheelchair for my mum. She is in a nursing home and has Alzheimer's, it would be nice to be able to take her out locally when we go see her. We can't use the homes ones incase of emergencies. Is there anywhere that hires them out free? Thankyou
 Share this content via...
nikki-red   295 #2 Posted August 27, 2017 When my son broke his leg we borrowed one from Shopmobility. Theyre free to hire but you pay a £20 refundable deposit. (They rely on donations so I just told them to keep ours.) You have to take them back after 6 weeks and exchange them for another one so they can be serviced.  http://shopmobility-sheffield.weebly.com/loans.html
 Share this content via...

shopaholicz   10 #5 Posted February 22, 2018 When my mum was first ill we borrowed one from them. We had to collect and return to their Wath depot.
 Share this content via...
