Art Courses & Workshops

I will be running various drawing, painting and craft courses and workshops from my studio for small groups (spaces limited to six). To start with see below for my latest dates:

 

“Anyone Can Make Fabulous Jewellery!” - £55 per person

This practical six week course will enable learners to gain knowledge of how to create a range of fashionable jewellery, using an array of colourful beads and base metal jewellery findings. Each week we will explore a new type of jewellery which learners will be able to take home. Learners can look forward to making various types of earrings, Beaded Charm Bracelets and Lariat Necklaces as some of the examples of what we will be exploring.

Thursdays – 1.30 – 3.30 pm - 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th June, 3rd, 10th July

 

“Creative Floral Art” - £55 per person

Learn how to observe, draw and paint beautiful flowers using a range of media. This is a six week course which will cover Observational Drawing Techniques, Tonal Values and Colour Theory all in relation to creating flower drawings and paintings. This course is ideal for those new to drawing and art, as well as those wishing to brush up on their skills and technique. By the end of the course learners will have achieved artistic representations of a range of flowers using watercolours, coloured pencil varieties, water soluble and mixed media.

Wednesdays – 1.30 – 3.30 pm - 4th, 11th 18th, 25th June, 2nd, 9th July

“Artists Materials Workshops” - £20 per person - Tuesdays – 1.30 – 4.30 pm

Practical three hour workshops with emphasis on specific materials, ideal for those wishing to get to grips with how to handle their paint and drawing materials. More courses and workshops to follow....

1st July – Watercolours

8th July – Water Soluble Pencil Varieties

15th July – Derwent “Inktense”
