maelstrom   10 #1 Posted May 15, 2014 The Arc community allotment and growing project at The Spires Centre (600 East Bank Rd) will be hosting a series of workshops taking place over the next few months on the topic of growing food. Led by Grow Sheffield's community grower for Arbourthorne, James Adams.  The first workshop will be "Making a Window Box" on Sat 17th May, from 10.30am - 12.30pm. Please call 0114 241 6786 to let us know your coming as places are limited, (please also get in touch if you plan to attend any of the other workshops on offer as well).  The other workshops are "Growing in Small Spaces" On Wed 18th June, from 6pm - 8pm. "Foraging for Edible Plants" on Sat 19th July, from 10.30am - 12.30pm and "Healthy Herbs" on Wed 13th August, from 6pm - 8pm.  There are also opportunities most Wednesday's from 10am to learn about growing food at the community allotment site at The Spires.
