S9_OWL   10 #25 Posted August 22, 2011 All about opinions  I don't disagree, but you can only play what's infront of you, and they were never ever the better team. As I say how many saves did Weaver actualy have to make?
 Share this content via...

As I say how many saves did Weaver actualy have to make?  The reason Weaver didn't have many to save is because Countys finishing was woeful, the penalty was an absolute joke. Lee Hughes should have scored near the end, and County had 6 shots on target to Wednesdays 4.
 Share this content via...
S9_OWL Â Â 10 #27 Posted August 22, 2011 Precisely we gave them the goal. The Hughes chance at the end was the only clear chance for them I remember. Â As for us been lucky with 3 points, a decent match report from a Notts perspective .. Â Doesn't quite tell the full story, because I'm really struggling to remember 6 County efforts on target. A couple from distance which Weaver could have thrown his cap on, one decent save, and the others must have been blocked shots from the edge of the area which were counted as shots on target. Semedo made a couple of very brave blocks, one of which made the entire ground wince and cross their legs.
 Share this content via...

Yeah that must have been a painful one to say the least I bet Bennett buzzed off scoring against Notts County what with him being ex Forest n all.
