Sharrow Festival on Saturday the 3rd of July in Mount Pleasant Park

3 stages, a main stage a community stage and a hip hop stage, music and craft workshops, kids area, bouncy castle, bucking bronco, and 100 stalls with information, crafts, and food of all different types.

It's been sunny on the day for the last 11 years and last year 8000 people had a great time.

There is also the fringe festival with music events organised in Sharrow for the week before and after the day in the park.

Beighton Gala (beightongala.com) Saturday July 10th. Usually over 100 stalls, free entry, a vehicle Parade around the village and quite traditional events such as Prize bingo, donkey rides, classic cars and tug-of-war to name but a handful. Please contact Tracy on 07931221998 for further details. Enjoy!

Its not exactly a festival, but if you fancy something a little different, get yourself to Bar Abbey to see the next Burly Q night.

If you like great cabaret, you'll love it. Some of the most innovative and downright odd acts that you are ever likely to see in Sheffield.

Check out the website for details:
